The Utah Education and Telehealth Network (UETN) stands as a nationally acclaimed organization, unifying the extensive services of the Utah Education Network (UEN) and the Utah Telehealth Network (UTN), responsible for a robust infrastructure of broadband and broadcast technologies for education and telehealth statewide. UETN’s network links over 2,000 K-12 schools, higher education institutions, public libraries and telehealth sites in the state’s urban, suburban and rural areas.
Utah Education Network works with partners across the state to identify and curate technology resources. UEN manages consortia purchases of educational technology software to reduce costs for K-12, Higher Education and Public Libraries. This includes tools for learning management, research, videoconferencing, creative expression and student engagement. Additionally, UEN provides free professional development to assist Utah educators in effectively using technology in the classroom.
Utah Telehealth Network is dedicated to expanding access to healthcare services through robust broadband infrastructure, technical support and education. Our mission is to ensure that healthcare services and resources are accessible and affordable for service providers and patients in all communities. UTN also hosts the Northwest Regional Telehealth Resource Center (NRTRC), a Health Services Resource Administration (HRSA) grant funded program.
