Open Positions:

IT Specialist
This is a full-time, on-site position that is responsible for providing technical assistance and support to individuals with computer, hardware, and software issues at the Eccles Broadcast Center on the University of Utah Campus. Users you will be supporting may be on-site or working remotely so good communication skills are critical. The individual will be expected to act in a professional and courteous manner while handling tier 1/tier 2 help desk support issues that could be in-person, over the phone, through email or other written means, and over video conferencing. The individual should have a solid understanding and a history of supporting Windows, MacOS, Active Directory and network printing. Other beneficial skills would be: Microsoft Server OS, Ubuntu/Linux, Cisco networking, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, File sharing and permissions, and security cameras.

Network Engineer Sr
This position will design, implement and maintain dark fiber and Ciena DWDM optical network for UETN.

Technical Support Analyst
Located in the state-of-the-art UETN Operations Center, housed at the Eccles Broadcast Center on the University of Utah campus, this is a service desk position that provides daily technical support and assistance for the Utah Education and Telehealth Network’s Interactive Video Conferencing system. The UETN-IVC system utilizes cutting edge distance learning technologies, applications and platforms for statewide higher education, and public education synchronous and a-synchronous, interactive distance education programs.

Network Engineer Sr
This position will design, implement and maintain dark fiber and Ciena DWDM optical network for UETN.

Systems Administrator
We are looking for a System Administrator. You’ll be joining a team that is responsible for managing storage, server and virtual hosting infrastructures. System Administrator responsibilities include monitoring system performance and configuring new software and hardware. To be successful in this role, you should have excellent troubleshooting skills and hands-on experience with various operating systems. System Administrator has on-call remote technical work on a rotating basis and this is an essential function of this position.

Program Assistant
Provides support and assists with the overall administration and development of specific department programs.
